Pros: It is light, sleek, relatively small, and is reasonably priced. Cons: It could die on you at any moment
It will simply cut power to your attached devices
It cannot supply the rated power (400VA) – one A****n reviewer measured it to be more like 200VA
It does not communicate with your PC to do graceful shutdown
The mute function will not work
Moving it to a remote outlet and covering it with pillows may be the only way to sleep until you can return it … Overall Review: It is reasonably priced because at any moment it could suffer a ‘UPS Fault’, at which point it will simply cease to supply power to your connected device and begin emitting a constant whine at high volume to inform you that something is wrong. You will be stunned for at least 5 seconds, wondering; A: Why has the screen pf my computer gone black? B: Where is that horribly loud noise coming from? and C: Why are my ears bleeding?
