  1. Ari B.

Pros: IMPRESSIVE noise filtration performance, isolated filter banks, 10 outlets, enough room for 6 transformers, high joule rating Cons: ethernet protection only supports 100/Base T Overall Review: I bought this after buying another Tripp Lite Isobar for a different application and came away impressed with its performance. I uprgraded from a Monster HTS 800 which actually cost me more than this product. The Monster includes noise filtration but clearly wasn’t doing much because my audio/video has never sounded or looked better with the Tripp Lite! Highly recommended.

  2. Anonymous

    Pros: Immediate sound quality difference.
Multiple sockets with spacing inbetween to fit big adapters that usually hog 1 and a half sockets.
    3 Coaxial filters
RJ 45 filters, modem filters Cons: None that I can think of. Overall Review: Having this Isobar in my room makes a difference. Audio is amazingly crisp. Music has real presence. My speakers don’t make noises from cellphone interference either, you know that det-deteted noise you hear when a cellphone is nearby. Even my vacuum cleaner sounds different. I have an external USB disk which is quieter now. It also improved the line quality of my internet cable running from the wall. I have wanted one of these for a long time as I am into energy systems and electronics.

  3. Todd L.

Pros: If you live rurally or anywhere power outages or storms happen a lot, then this is a good choice. It works as advertised. Lots of room and color coding. Cons: Maybe that the power button is a little too close to the one outlet. It’s easy to switch it off on accident while unplugging (or by cat). Just something to be aware of. A little piece of tape solves that. Overall Review: I have more than one and both have worked well for a couple of years now.

  4. Chad G.

Pros: -Right from the start, I noticed a decrease in noise from all that is hooked up to this bad boy (computer, fan, vacuum)
-I hooked my cable and internet up also, and for once the cable came in clear, not much change in internet tho 😛
-I like the design, and it really isn’t as big as other suppressors of it’s price range Cons: -the on/off switch (as said in other reviews) is a little too close to the first plug… but as was said by some other review, a couple of pieces of tape fixed that right up Overall Review: -This thing, for the price on Newegg, is so worth it. As you can see from all the good reviews, I would miss out on this product

  5. Emerson O.

Pros: Ok, so it’s heavy and has a high energy suppression rating, and this is great. More important to me is the EMI/RFI filtering and electrical isolation. I plugged in the plasma TV, the stereo receiver, a blue ray player, HD cable box and DVR, and a htpc. I’m a little surprised, but I can tell a slight difference in the TV picture, more in the music, and now my powerline ethernet adapter works – from 120Mbps. Cons: Only the price. I’m still a little shocked that I bought it, but happy I did. Overall Review: If you suffer from terrible line noise, like from a plasma TV, this thing is great.
Without a good stereo setup, Bose included, you may not be able to tell a difference in sound.
I thought that I had wasted $100 on the powerline adapters.

  6. Eugene L.

Pros: You know when you pick it up for the first time that this thing is built to last. I call it the brick…plenty of three prong sockets, long power cord, can wall mount. Hands down the best surge suppressor I’ve ever owned. Trust in the brick! Cons: None

  7. Geoffrey L.

Pros: 10 outlets, plenty of connectivity i.e; Ethernet, coax, ph. line, wall mount, rack mount or stash behind your cabinet, super long power cord, lifetime warranty with equipment protection. Cons: Unable to accommodate multiple power units. Overall Review: I had originally rated this unit with 5*. After ownership of 2 years, it gets a 4* and here’s why……..
It handled my plasma, 135w (2ch) AVR, two small subs, BR player and some accessories with ease.
When I added an external power amp, the unit produced an annoying hum. By arranging the location of the plugs, having the AVR and amp plugs at opposite ends of the unit, the hum was reduced significantly but not eliminated.
Once I added a 2nd amp, there was no way to avoid the loud humming coming from the unit.
Solution, added the CMX-6 by Emotiva. Now my AVR and both amps are plugged into one unit with zero line noise.
I still use the HT10DBS because it’s an awesome unit and offers great coverage for your gear, so this combined with the CMX-6, I have one happy set up.
For the record, the AVR is rated at 135w per ch with 2 channels driven, the amps are rated at 200wpc/3ch amp and 300wpc/2ch amp.
    Highly recommended.

  8. Felix B.

Pros: bunch of outlets (10), solid build casing will outlast anything you dish at it, long cord and lifetime warranty Cons: Does not support gigabit ethernet but not a deal breaker. Overall Review: I seems to handle my Panasonic TC-P55VT50 plasma, Elite SC-79 receiver, Pioneer Blu Ray player, dish receiver and an Onkyo CS-N755 with ease.
