Pros: Built tough and excellent materials. Copper-Nickel bottom allows use of
all thermal pastes including those with some metal. Comes with pre-applied
thermal paste which will be good unless you need Thermal Grizzly etc to
overclock. This also at 38db is possibly the quietest LGA 3647 non-aluminum
bottom heat sink, great for overclocking. Cons: I wish this quiet version was available for the square ILM. This heat sink will fit long ILM ONLY. Overall Review: Supermicro quality, design, low noise, high cooling capacity – can’t beat this for LGA 3647 Long ILM
If you have the LGA 3647 square mount (old style) there are a lot less heat sinks to choose from.
