Pros: High Capacity
Reliable
Runs Cool Cons: No Support
U.2 interface is tricky on commodity hardware Overall Review: I run 4 of these drives in raid 0 on a Threadripper Pro system. They are tricky because they are u.2 and so they need a really stable clean connection to the CPU so any kind of u.2 cable is a no-go, the system likely wont even recognize that the drive is connected. Instead you need a good quality PCIE sled that converts PCIE to U.2 via passthrough or ideally a backplane that they can plug into. Also if you do run into technical difficulties there is essentially no support for these drives so you need to be confident that you can troubleshoot whatever goes wrong.

Pros: Look carefully before you buy. This is a SAS drive not a SATA drive. Cons: Doesn’t work on SATA connections Overall Review: Would be nice if it said SAS or SATA in the description or if there was a better picture of the connections
