  1. BENJAMIN B.

Pros: This is a really nice looking cabinet. It’s sleek and the glass door is elegant.
At 60lbs, it’s very solid without being too difficult to move around.
18 inch depth is great for networking equipment and some smaller 1U cases, and saves floor space. Fit my use case perfectly.
Removable side panels on both sides. They will lock in to place automatically and can be removed by pushing the tabs. No need to use the lock and key there if you don’t want to.
Spot for fans on both top and bottom. Mine’s just sitting on the floor, but this could greatly improve airflow for a wall-mounted installation. Cons: Unlike the side panels, the front door doesn’t contain any mechanism for keeping it in place, so it will swing open unless you lock the cabinet. If security is a concern, that won’t be an issue for you. For me, since this is a home unit, I just left one of the 2 included keys in the lock for easy access. Overall Review: This thing just looks so good. It fits so well as a piece of furniture that I’m almost reluctant to add more equipment, lest the noise footprint force a relocation to another room. Almost.

    Pros: -Great quality
-Comes with cage nuts and rack screws
    -Plenty of room
    -Glass door with lock
-Two cable entry points (Top and bottom)
-Side panels come off for access Cons: -None at all Overall Review: After researching MANY different cabinets and designs I decided on this. I was not disappointed at all! It’s a very good quality cab with a glass front door and the sides come off to allow easy access to the inside. I love that there is a cable entry point on the top and bottom; just remove two screws and the access cover. This cab uses cage nuts and rack screws (it comes with a bag of both). I use this to house my home network which consists of a rack mount PSU, patch panel, two switches and three POE injectors and i’ve only used about 1/3 of the space available! If you’re looking for a good cabinet, this is it!

Overall Review: We used to love these cabinets , but they’ve changed the design to a closed back instead of open, which means if you have a long switch or rackmount UPS, you can’t use the cabinet.
We will no longer be purchasing these, and will be searching for another option.

  4. CHRISTOPHER B.

Pros: It’s really easy to work worth Cons: Mounting hardware makes no sense and there are no instructions Overall Review: Awesome little rack and idk if I used th mounting hardware correctly due to the lack of instructions but it’s holding everything for now

  5. Andrew D.

Overall Review: Overall it is a very nice product, the wall I decided to put it on had studs that did not match the mount points on the cabinet so I built a small plinth to raise the cabinet off of the floor.
Very pleased with it [it is my first rack mount cabinet so I have no knowledge or experience to compare it with anything else]

Pros: Figure out how to assemble this thing ¯\(°_o)/¯
There’s a very basic instruction pamphlet that essentially says, Step 1 “Assemble this with the parts included in the box” lol I mean it’s not rocket science, but it’s not like I have built one of these before, so some sort of instruction would be appreciated. I hope that al the rest of the very pricey items I have bought (and can’t return) fit / work with this.. Otherwise it’s well made – solid, far too heavy for me to manage even on the floor, so it definitely won’t be mounted on my wall as planned. Cons: The lack of instruction on assembly.
The weight (my own fault for not looking beforehand) means I can’t wall mount it as planned (I require assistance to walk, and my doctor’s tell me I’ll be be confined to a wheelchair soon, so that’s something to look forward to at least) I mean why walk when you can roll? Eh optimistically speaking is something they tell me can help…
Anyway I worry about the glass door with the cabinet being on the floor, because of my dog. He loves to take his toys and shake his head until they go flying out of his mouth- and many of them are large, hard and they hit anything in their path at 1 to 3 feet high. Exactly the height of the cab. I guess I will have to block it with something.
Otherwise it looks like it will be a great server rack/cabinet. Overall Review: I would recommend this to anyone who knows how to assemble these things. I don’t know why the little flyer doesn’t have actual instructions. Good luck!

Pros: – Clear door is a nice aesthetic, and being able to see the condition of equipment inside is very useful for us casual/home users.
    – Once assembled, the frame is pretty solid. For example, I was able to front-mount a 30-lb (2U) UPS without any noticeable bending or buckling.
    – Fan mounts/grilles are essential for airflow in a closed cabinet like this. (I used AC Infinity rack fans.)
    – Side panels are a breeze to remove and replace, which is very helpful for cabling since the back panel is non-removable. Cons: – Several of the frame components were bent on arrival, and the parts literally would not fit together; I had to bang and pull on them with a hammer and pliers before I could assemble them. (Note, the box itself was pristine, so this was clearly a QC issue, not damaged in transit.)
    – Assembly instructions are some of the worst I’ve ever seen since the 90s, literally the kind of thing you’d see in a Dave Barry satire. Vague, poorly-translated sentences accompanied by images that are slightly too small to make out details (and of course no bigger version you can download), parts in the box that don’t match anything on the parts list, also confusing parts list (the “top” and “bottom” panels appear absolutely identical, for example), complete absence of any information about wall-mounting, etc.
    – The combination of poor QC and poor instructions made for a highly frustrating assembly experience. Rosewill really needs to actually have someone sit down with a real customer who is not a professional and watch them try to assemble this.
    – The “L-type mounting brackets” connecting the front and rear vertical rails are not the full depth of the rack. While this means some trial and error during assembly, the bigger issue is how the required bracket placement makes it incompatible with some, if not all mounting rails for heavier equipment. I had purchased an adjustable rail that was rated for as low as 15 inches, which you’d think would work in an 18″ deep rack, but does not, because the rack’s own vertical rails must be spaced only about 11-12″ apart due to these L brackets. Overall Review: Considering the low price point, this really is quite decent. You could easily pay twice as much for a similar product from NavePoint or StarTech, and even the no-name brands on “other online retailers” (which I’m not allowed to name, but y’all know the one) tend to be a little pricier. So, fair is fair, if you go for the “budget” category then you should expect these little quirks and imperfections. For what it’s worth, I’m pretty happy with the end result, I just wish it had been a less stressful experience to get to that.
