Honestly a good buy, you won’t find a 4060 graphics card near this price point
And it’s handled everything I threw at it including Enzoi

I’ve been looking for a good deal on agaming laptop with a RTX 4060 since the new 5000 series just launched. This is a great laptop for the price. I really did not want to spend more money just because there is a newer GPU out there. I can play all my games at Medium to High settings with 144 FPS. They blue backlit keyboard is perfect, as I don’t like too much RGB.

The laptop came as described. It’s actually pretty fast and handles just about any game without issues. The only issues I have are the battery life and internet connectivity. The internet connection seems to disconnect randomly, but that may be a program issue with Microsoft; sometimes they release buggy drivers, so I just have to wait for an update. As far as the battery life goes, it drains very fast. It does have features that help save battery life, but at the cost of performance. For the price, it is worth getting, especially as an entry-level gaming laptop. I would recommend this laptop to anyone, whether for gaming or other activities such as school or business.

Only had for a few days so far, bought as a replacement for my desktop since I’m moving at the end of the month. Here is some info that might come in handy for yall:
1. The included ssd is installed in the only nVME slot (that I could find/that shows up in the bios). The only other drive expansion slot is a regular SATA port.
2. 16 gigs of ram seems to just get eaten up by this thing, I recommend buying a 32gb kit to swap it out
3. When you first launch/turn on the laptop, you will be updating it for approximately one eternity (seriously, it took forever.
4. There is a setting in the NVIDIA control panel to turn the integrated graphics off and use the dedicated 4060 full time, I recommend turning it on.
Otherwise, I have had absolutely 0 issues with the product! Very good deal when I bought it as well!

Sleek and nice shaped laptop, I don’t like using monitor combined keyboard, so I ordered external keyboard and mouse with laptop stand. This system can replace desktop and it can obtain workstation like atmosphere. NONE PLASTIC BODY, that was I worried before purchase and worry free. I don’t buy laptop every 6 month for review or carrying like clipboard.

At first was hesitant about getting it, but it’s definitely worth the price. So far I’m enjoying this laptop and isn’t experiencing any issues. Plays most AAA games well without major hickups besides the minor frame drop here and there, but overall it’s a great gaming laptop that doesn’t break your wallet 🙂

Maybe it’s good, maybe it isn’t. It freezes on the initial setup while trying to update Windows. 3 hours of downloading updates, and it’s still at 0% complete. Google searching shows this to be a common issue with MSI with very complicated solutiions.
It is completely unusable at this point. i shouldn’t have to delve into hours and hours of tech support just to boot up a brand new out of the box laptop. Totally unacceptable. This thing is going back asap.

So far, it’s very good. Excellent price for a laptop with RTX 4060, performs very well, and the temperatures are great. Its only weak point is the battery; without gaming, it lasts about 2 hours if power-saving mode is not activated, and a decrease in performance is noticeable.
Overall, it’s a very good purchase for less than $800.

Maybe I got a faulty one. But I was really disappointed with this laptop. For some reason Google Chrome lagged a lot and then when I downloaded games, they would glitch out in home screen. I downloaded BioShock 2 remastered, would freeze a bunch on the Home Screen. Lagged in game. I downloaded who’s your daddy, doesn’t take much to run that- lagged in the Home Screen. Oddly lagged when in the settings portion of the laptop, not sure what’s wrong with it- returned it. Didn’t even own it for a full 24 hours.

TL;DR: Can’t beat the price-to-performance ratio.
CPU Upgrade Win
9th gen i7 → 13th gen i5 was surprisingly good:
– 6 cores/12 threads → 8 cores/12 threads
– Better for dev work and AI experiments
RTX 4060 is the Sweet Spot
Perfect for:
– AI training workloads
– 1080p gaming at max settings
Google “RTX 4060 AI performance” if you don’t believe me.
Bottom Line
Not a 4K gaming beast or enterprise ML rig, but for web dev, casual ML, and gaming after work? Hits the sweet spot without breaking the bank.
Recommend? Absolutely, especially if you’re upgrading from 2019-era hardware.
Coming from old hardware? This will feel like a rocket ship.
