Pros: Very roomy case, more than enough room for a mini redundant atx power supply, hot swap cage works wonderful. Construction is very solid. Cons: none Overall Review: the hdd lights on the raid cage are orange\green for normal status and not just green even though the raid is funtional

Pros: Good layout and generally good quality for the price. Cons: The case comes with a metal support arm that runs the width of the case. On this arm there are smaller black plastic arms that can be adjusted downward to support PCI/E cards. These smaller black plastic arms are locked into place with screws. For some reason the screws that secure these smaller black plastic arms, even when fully tighten down, stick up high enough that they stop the top of the case from sitting flush with the rest of the case. I had to removal all the small black plastic arms and their respective screws to install the top of the case. I’m not sure how this thing made it through QC.

Pros: This case looks amazing in my rack, and it is really well built. Definitely worth it if you have a rack to mount it on. Cons: The front USB ports aren’t aligned perfectly to the case, but it’s hardly noticeable, and doesn’t really affect the accessibility to the ports. Also, I’d recommend buying two new fans, because it only comes with one cheap plastic fan, but anybody buying any server case would know to switch out the stock fans. Overall Review: I produce music, so I decided to build a PC that would fit nicely in my rack with all my other hardware. In it, I have an Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0, AMD 8350 FX, 32GB Corsair Pro RAM, Sapphire HD7970 GHz Edition (I like to game as well), and a PC Power 750 watt P.S. Everything fits beautifully in the case.

Pros: Everything Cons: 8 screws are completley diffrent from the others. dont loose them. For example. The hard drive bay gets screwed by 4 screws. 4 on each. The 8 are very difrent then the othere. Much larger screws. I lost one, and now use 7 instead of 8. Not a big deal, unless i want more, the. I gata size them up. Overall Review: Make the mobo screws the same!

Pros: these are great cases , lots of room , great heard drive mounts , have used these on many rack mount builds , everything fits well , no sharp edges ever . Cons: problem is no support from newegg if parts are missing from the case newegg does not care because they have the money , you are out of luck Overall Review: I recommend the Istar cases , I do not recommend newegg , they did not even care that parts were missing , totally ignored saying call the mfg , May I remind newegg – you took the money !!!

-Fits all the PC parts you already have (or are familiar with) Cons: -None that I have encountered Overall Review: I have get a super powerful home server up for a while, but I didn’t like the idea of buying a proprietary server that I couldn’t freely upgrade and change at my will. Plus enterprise grade server fans are way too noisy for me. I bought this and filled it with the parts I wanted and a couple Noctua fans and it is the realization of my exact desires. I absolutely recommend it
