WINDFORCE COOLING SYSTEM
The WINDFORCE cooling system delivers exceptional thermal performance through a combination of cutting-edge technologies. It features server-grade thermal conductive gel, innovative Hawk fans with alternate spinning, composite copper heat pipes, a large copper plate, 3D active fans, and screen cooling.
ACTIVE COOLING DESIGN – HAWK FAN
HAWK FAN
The Hawk Fan features a unique blade design inspired by the aerodynamics of an eagle’s wing. This design reduces air resistance and noise levels, resulting in up to a 53.6% increase in air pressure and a 12.5% increase in air volume without compromising acoustics.
ALTERNATE SPINNING
Reduce the turbulence of adjacent fans and increase airflow pressure.
3D ACTIVE FAN
The 3D Active Fan provides semi-passive cooling, and the fans will remain off when the GPU is in a low load or low power game.
GRAPHENE NANO LUBRICANT
Graphene nano lubricant can extend the life of sleeve bearing fan by 2.1 times, close to the life of double ball bearing, and is quieter.
SERVER-GRADE THERMAL CONDUCTIVE GEL
To enhance product quality and reliability, we have introduced server-grade thermal conductive gel for cooling critical components such as VRAM and MOSFETs. This highly deformable, non-fluid gel provides optimal contact for uneven surface and effectively resists deformation from transport or long-term use, unlike traditional thermal pads.
LARGE COPPER PLATE & COMPOSITE COPPER HEAT PIPE
The large copper plate directly contacts the GPU, coupled with the composite copper heat pipes, which quickly transfers the heat of the GPU and VRAM to the heatsink.
SCREEN COOLING
Extended heatsink allows air to pass through, providing better heat dissipation.
ASTONISHING EXTERIOR DESIGN
The design inspiration for the EAGLE series stems from the fusion of aerospace battleships and sci-fi elements. Its unique curved contours outline a streamlined appearance, complemented by segmented lines resembling disassembled deck components, evoking the intricate structure of a spaceship. This design infuses the overall aesthetic with a rich cosmic technology vibe, showcasing the futuristic aesthetics and craftsmanship in every detail.
SIGNATURE IDENTITY
The frontal design boldly integrates aerospace and sci-fi elements, clearly showcasing the distinctive EALGE style, while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic with the motherboard product line. This ensures a unified design language and reinforces product family identity.
DYNAMIC PULSATING VISUAL
The side panels adopt a layered metal plate design to enhance the depth and dynamics of the pulsating elements. Combined with subtle blue lighting effects, it crafts an immersive sci-fi visual aesthetic.
RGB LIGHTING
With 16.7M customizable color options and numerous lighting effects, you can choose any lighting effect or synchronize with other devices in GIGABYTE CONTROL CENTER.

Pros: Pros
– no coil whine/ super silent
– barely any fan noise
– sleek compact design
– runs very cool (typically in the 50s during very long gaming sessions) Cons: – RGB is minimal if you like that sort of thing
– Price is above MSRP, but it is one of the few and best looking white 5070 TIs out
– Power limit locked to 100 (but caveats) Overall Review: Seeing so few reviews on this one out in the wild, I agonized between keeping this card or the GB Aero SFF 5080 and after testing both for nearly the extent of the return period, the performance difference was extremely negligible, even when overclocking both. The power limit on the Eagle is locked to 100 but it didn’t matter much against the 5080’s 111% PL. I saw almost no performance gains. In terms of graphical settings, both had similar limits. You can’t max out 4K with raytracing on either card.
One of my favorite games is Wukong, which is tough on GPUs. The Eagle handled it no problem at 1440P with high settings, medium RT and frame gen. I know what you/re thinking. “Ugh frame gen” and I was with you. But just the 2x fg (which the 40 series also does) was enough to give me about 90 frames on this game with RT. I am extremely sensitive to latency and felt practically none here. In fact it somehow seemed more responsive than when I play the game on maxed out settings on my 4090 and aliasing was minimum. I would say I wouldn’t use the 3x/4x gen unless you have a monitor above 144hz as it may start to look weird and gain more latency.
I usually game in 4K on a 4090 so thought I’d be bothered by the downgrade in resolution after buying a small portable 1440P monitor on Amzn but honestly, the graphics looked amazing. With DLSS 4, you can get extremely good image quality and performance. I then bought a portable 15″ 1880P OLED screen from Amzn and same thing, looks amazing. I game for very long periods on the weekends or after work and this card is deadly silent and cool, usually staying within the 50s and paired with a 7800X3D.
For people desiring more power, you can flash this card with a vbios to unlock the PL. I used MSI vanguard and the MSI afterburner mod and was able to overclock this card pretty decently getting about stock 5080 performance. I have never tinkered with doing this type of thing before, but it was extremely easy and there are very good online tutorials. Just know flashing vbios may void your warranty. Always back your stuff up in case of RMA claims. The card does have a dual bios switch but I don’t notice any difference between the modes.
Overall I paid 950 after taxes for this card and I find it to be more than what I need for my SFF PC and a very decent value compared to what’s out on the market. I saved $700 in comparison to the 5080 that would’ve just granted me a couple more frames. I am very happy with the Eagle and pleasantly surprised by the performance.
