This crockpot runs hot, even on low. I am glad I went with the 8 qt version, it allows for a decent size roast with room for veggies. The controls are easy to use. It’s a nice slow cooker, my only complaint is how hot even the low setting is.

This is a very nice crock pot. Ceramic insert is removable for easy cleaning. It works well to cook food & has several different settings. It’s a larger capacity so if you have a larger family this would be perfect. So far everything has turned out great in this. I definitely recommend this if you’re looking into purchasing one.

This thing is super nice and im a fan of the simple controls – nothing fancy to figure out; push and cook.
This is well made and easy to clean. (Avoid using brillo style “metal” scrubbers of course, as this will dull the finish)
It is larger than expected (i evidently didnt pay attention to the size listed) but im glad it is as it is super handy.

Super easy to use. Works exactly as it should. Love the fact that it has a timer so it sets to warm when it’s done.

Our daughter was always borrowing our old crock pot… so we went and bought the digital version of the crock pot and gifted our old unit to her. It works great. Only one thing odd about the new crock pot is that the glass cover doesn’t tend to cover the top of the unit as well as the glass cover on the old crock pot. It almost seems like the cover was from a smaller version of our crock pot… but it works and does the job. On receipt the plastic handle on the top glass cover was broken… we contacted the company immediately and sadly they didn’t have spare handles to repair this obvious warranty type item. They suggested that we either send the entire unit back to Amazon or for us to go and simply buy a new handle on Amazon – which is what we did… we paid 9 bucks to get a new handle the next day via Amazon. Fortunately the quality of the aftermarket handle is better then the flimsy plastic handle that came originally on the crock pot. All said and done… we love this crock pot.

This is the perfect size for my needs. I love that it’s really simple to use and has a two hour warm feature. I use it every four or five days and the meat comes out tender every time. Everything cooks evenly and it’s easy to clean. It should last several years and it was a good price. I definitely recommend.

Less than thrilled. I’ve used this 4 times and it’s leaking all over the counter in my kitchen. As I was peeling tomatoes to put into it, it leaked the juice out from the bottom of the device. So I had to put towels under it to use it. That’s no okay. I bought it March 29th 2025 and today is June 20 2025. Quite disappointed. It spits liquid out from under the lid and some of that also gets on the counter. This is less than three months old and I’ve only used it 4 times. I noticed the counter wet the third time but shrugged it off to the ‘spit’ coming from the lid. It also has leaked into the heating element chamber and created quite a section of scorched debris. That was removed with some vigorous scrubbing. I haven’t cooked anything extraordinary and to be fair, the food has all turned out exactly as expected. Nothing burned. I did not overfill it or abuse it in any way. It certainly creates a mess. Not something I read would happen before purchasing. Throwing it in the trash for another brand. I don’t think it’s worth pursuing the warranty coverage even. Quite disappointed.

Item worked as it should, small amount of smoke when I first used it, not electrical more of a oily smell, as the directions indicate may happen, did not last more than maybe 10 mins. 15 Bean soup was my first try doubleing the ingredaints cooked 6hrs. on high turned out great. Auto feature to warm worked flawlessly. So far very happy, did notice the handle for the lid was cracked and ordered a new one on amazon no great shakes

Admittedly I am a Crock Pot snob. Let me explain. I love the old, original Crock Pots. I have actually burned out two, my husband pulled one off the counter and broke it, and I now have 3 of them in my pantry. One of those was bought in an antique shop, in the original box and packaging never having been used.
But when wanting to make a large batch or spaghetti, chili, or whole chicken one was just not large enough. Enter a different brand 6qt slow cooker. After only about two years the writing was worn off of the dial, the metal portion was stained beyond belief, and the dial itself was rickety. It was unreliable often over heating and boiling when it should not have been. So, when Prime Day came around and I discovered the 8qt Crock Pot brand slow cooker it was love and first sight. Generally, I am not fond of the newer removable ceramic cookers for several reasons. It is too easy to damage or break the ceramic removable pot, the cords are way too short, but primarily because there is no insulation whatsoever; just brushing up against the cooker can quickly burn. When bustling around the kitchen that can happen all too easily, but I understand that is the way they are made these days; grin and bear it I will. Even though it is touted to make clean up easier, I am not sure that is the case with any removable pot.
When the new 8qt beauty arrived, despite the removable ceramic pot, it was quite large and very nice. After washing it and of course reading the booklet (sans cookbook which was noted in the description) I plugged it in and began experimenting. It was very simple to master and actually quite impressive. There are 3 heat choices and when programmed for cook time, it automatically switches to warm when that time has elapsed which I found reassuring; it can be programmed for up to 20 hours. It appeared to cook low on low and then high on high as it should. I have already used it 3 times. First it cooked an 8lb pork shoulder to perfection. Next 16 chicken thighs were used in a recipe my son calls, “Mississippi Mud Chicken,” which he got from a local fireman. Lastly, just on a whim, I wondered how boiled peanuts would fare in the slow cooker. Half of the peanuts were boiled on the stove the traditional way and the other half were cooked in the Crock Pot on high for between 6-8 hours both pots at a slow boil. As it turns out, both were done at the same time and tasted exactly the same-texture, flavor and all. According to the description, this slow cooker can prepare enough food for up to 10 people, so no more multiple crock pots for get togethers. Despite no insulation, this programmable, stainless steel Crock Pot is going to be well used and well loved.
