Pros: Yes, you read that right, my tech knowledge of surge protectors is only a 3, but I still rate this a 5 because it can be wall mounted! Wooo! Keeps cables off the floor, thus trapping less dust, and keeps things clean! Wooo!
Good spacing between outlets, too. Cons: none really.

  2. Mr D.

Pros: Because of this surge protector I was able to detect and repair 2 improperly installed outlets and a bad ground on an entire circuit. It all started when the “not grounded” light came on for one, and then several of my outlets as I got curious and tested them all. The first one ended up having a ground but reversed polarity (the hot wire was on the neutral side of the plug and vice versa). Another outlet turned out to have a bad plug (I had spares from replacing other outlets that were ugly/old). The remaining problem outlets were all on the same circuit and I was able to trace the problem to a junction box with poorly bonded grounds. I actually measured several Megohms of resistance from the neutral to the ground on these outlets and knew something was up. The resistance normally should be very low, a few at best.
Other than that I couldn’t really measure how well it “filters/cleans” the noise from the lines but everything appears to be working well. It’s convenient that the outlets face lateral to the length of the strip as many newer power adapters stick out to the side. Cons: None at the moment.

  3. Nathan S.

Pros: cheap. Cons: none Overall Review: Saved my first pc build the first week had 3 bad power surges from someone hitting a pole.

  4. Stefan R.

    Pros: Low Price
Green LED to tell when it’s grounded. Cons: – The LED’s might be annoying to some? Overall Review: Higher quality than expected for $10. I bought it thinking it was cheap because my last bar was 20 years old and I didn’t trust it with a $2000 PC.

  5. Tyler V.

Pros: 7 outlets, signal lights, on off switch, and lots of wire, but there is a clip on the wire for the extra. Cons: The male end of the surge protector is turned slightly to the right. It’s not a huge issue, but it’s a little annoying. It’s really hard to plug things into it. It feels like I’m going to break something when plugging in a device. Overall Review: Compared to other surge protectors the price is great, there is more joules and more outlets.

  6. David M.

Pros: Outlets are well spaced and have a nice snug fit. The cord to the wall is very durable. The switch is actually recessed slightly into the end, preventing accidental shut-off while fumbling around with plugs. Provides pretty good surge protection at a price only slightly above the cost of a basic power strip. Cons: None of which I can think. Overall Review: Great product. If you don’t have a surge protector for your electronics because of cost, then just make the smart choice and get something affordable like this. It’s better than just plugging into the wall without protection.

  7. James F.

Pros: This is just what the doctor ordered. I needed an extra plug in my computer room and this did the trick. Great quality, LED indicators, 7 plugs, decent length cable, and a very good price! Will buy another if needed. Cons: none Overall Review: Would highly recommend to anyone who needs more than 6 plugs.

  8. Bradly K.

Pros: Has 7 outlets Cons: Does not protect connected equipment from surges Overall Review: Because of a storm we had a major surge on the power lines. Of the 4 surge protectors in our house 3 of them are dead, this Belkin one survived. Unfortunately equipment connected to this Belkin is dead whereas equipment connected to the other 3 is fine. Lesson learned, don’t go cheap on surge protectors. This unit is little more than an outlet strip.
