This is a really nice laptop. It’s performance is pretty good but the speakers are the weakest speakers I’ve ever heard on a device ever.
My 20 year old Gameboy Advance SP is louder than this laptop. 🤣

Great laptop! Runs games very well there’s just a couple of things that irk me. One is it runs VERY hot, you definitely need to get a cooling pad or something if you plan on laying down or anything of that sort. Second issue, and this is the big one, the screen is not bright AT ALL. Very dim even on max brightness settings. Other than that, it has ran great and handles everything I’ve thrown at it.

I waited a year to submit a review. Bought this last year during prime sale and my son has used it daily since then for gaming and school. Too many hours a day for me to be happy about…. It has turned out to be an excellent laptop with no problems or issues. Brilliant color and has never had issues with any of the many games he plays. He is thrilled with the graphics and storage. Survived the usual bumps and drops back and forth to middle school daily. It was more expensive than I intended to pay but has turned out to be a great purchase and my son loves it.

This laptop exceeded my expectations, i got it mainly for gaming but it has turned into my main device for work, music and gaming and anything i need a computer for. I did upgrade it with 32 gb of ram and 4 extra tb of storage which was very simply by just removing the bottem plate and simply replacing the exsisting ram and adding a nvme drive to the ectra port inside, it plays new triple A titles with no issues and temps stay relatively cool. The fans are a bit loud after a while of gaming but with a set of headphones its not noticable.

I actually looked up what other nerds said worked good for cost and this was the winner. It’s pretty great! Thanks, my fellow nerds who also despise building computers themselves!! I’ve been using it to play Enshrouded!
Performance:
I’ve tried multiple games and have zero complaints. This is a surprisingly sturdy laptop. I did not expect it to perform as well as it does. It can get a little hot, so I keep it on a cooled desk when playing demanding games. It’s very fast and looks beautiful. I hated myself for spending so much on a laptop at first, but now I have no regrets. It actually works so well I’m migrating to it as my main computer. I haven’t turned my desktop on in 3 months now.

My son was in the market for a while. Asus may not be as popular as Dell, HP or Lenovo. But they are as good in quality and durability at fraction of the price. Bought this for solidworks and for a tiny bit more money upgraded the RAM. Works like a charm. It’s also lighter and doesn’t get as hit. They keyboard has a neat unique feel that only Asus makes.

Incredible laptop for gaming. It’s everything I hoped for and more. I haven’t bought a PC in years and wanted something that would last and was good for gaming and general tasks. The Initial unboxing alone was impressive it screamed quality and thought out into the boxing alone. Upon first turning it on I’m greeted with an array of lights and beautiful sounds. I’m still setting it up but will update when it’s complete.

Vengo de una Asus TUF A15 Ryzen 7 con una RTX 3050/16GB de RAM. Esta Rog G16 i7 RTX4060/16 GB RAM la supera por bastante.
La laptop me llego en perfectas condiciones, sin backlight bleeding ni problemas en la tarjeta grafica. Tampoco el famoso “coil whine”.
La pantalla representa mucho mejor el color y da un poco más brillo que una laptop gamer de gama baja. Bocinas decentes con cierto bass a mi parecer, unas dos rayitas más de volumen y es perfecta.
La sensación del teclado y la construcción general de esta laptop es superior a lo común.
Juegos AAA me los corre excelente. Entre 40fps(high/ultra) a 80fps(medium). En donde se vuelven notables los ventiladores pero tienen un sonido que a mi parecer es acostumbrable.
En tareas básicas en Adobe e internet es realmente silenciosa y no se calienta.
En cuanto a programas de renderizado como referencia de una RTX3050 mobile me tardaban 15 seg por renders, Esta RTX4060 me tarda no más de 6 seg. (Renderizo mobiliario urbano)
En cuanto a la entrega tengo la teoría que me la abrió la aduana porque la caja venía con el sello cortado pero todo bien.
Es un poco más pesada que una laptop gamer básica, me he adaptado bien, sin embargo es algo que notarás.
Update: La laptop no ha presentado mayor problema. Sin embargo después de unos meses de transportandola ya me presentó backlight bleeding ligero. Lo considero normal dado el uso que le doy. Mi recomendación es que la transporten con cuidado.

My sister and I were both getting new laptops and my sister chose this one. Right off the bat we noticed how much smaller it was than anticipated. For reference, I previously had a 15inch computer and quickly saw this looked much smaller and I was correct.
We measured and it’s approx 13.5 inches with an active screen of about 13inches.
This was really important since we needed laptops that would fully utilize the cintiq 16 aspect ratio and laptops of a smaller size usually results in a smaller working area on the tablet.
My sister still wanted to try and see if 13 inches would be enough and sadly it was not. It’s a big shame too because the laptop seems very well made. I’ve had an ASUS in the past and it lasted me a while so I trust the manufacturer. The silent fans really ARE very silent. The quietest laptop we’ve ever seen. The logo sound is a bit of a jumpscare when turning on the laptop though (it’s the sound of two blades), but I’m sure there’s a way you can turn that off if you’d like. We didn’t get past the set up since we just wanted to see if it was compatible with the Cintiq.
Making this review so that other people know about the incorrect size listing. If you don’t mind getting a laptop that’s three inches smaller than anticipated then this seems like a good choice. If size does in fact matter to you then please look elsewhere. But also keep in mind, this isn’t the only wrong size listing. The Acer 17 laptop I got was in fact 15 inches despite the description. 15 at least uses the full Cintiq work area so I didn’t need to return mine but again it’s weird that you have to assume that what’s listed in the description is going to be off by two to three inches. This is, technically, false advertising.
