Overall Review: I switched from the PNY 5070 to this Asrock RX9070. Ive never had a AMD GPU before so I was expecting some issues but I had zero. The card runs awesome. Its quiet and the temps even during intense gameplay don’t go over 50c. A nice change from the 5070 where I was having to manually edit the fans to cool down the GPU because it was going over 80c during the same games. What games? Currently playing Stellar Blade on maxed settings, RE4, Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster, FF16, Monster Hunter Wilds, and some Lies of P (yay DLC!)
The package was simple with nothing but the Manuel and the GPU in it. No extra which would have been nice but its not needed since this card only needs 2×8 pin plugs and since it is the non XT version I wasn’t expecting much.
The wattage was a concern for me as I only have a 800PSU. However no issue what so ever. I haven’t seen anything over 220w which normal gameplay hovering around 160w on the higher end. The 220 w was during loading and start up.
for my first AMD Radeon card I am very pleased and even more so that I didn’t have to spend over $600 for it.
I highly recommend. If things change in the future I may change the rating but for now its 5/5

Pros: Great 1440p experience! Overall Review: Happy with the purchase, capable in 4k but shines best at 1440p! No complaints!

Pros: Paid $50 over msrp so not too bad and coming from a 6600xt the performance boost has been insane at 1440p. I have it in an nr200, so it’s not in a big case but the thermals have been outstanding so far and it’s a very quiet gpu. I don’t think I’ve seen it hit 70° once. The highest I’ve see the memory hit was 80°. Card overclocks and undervolts well if you’re into that. I undervolted mine and it never goes over 187 watts with no noticeable performance loss. I already loved the adrenaline software before so that’s another + Cons: None so far Overall Review: Would highly recommend for people playing at 1440p

Pros: Great performing GPU, which can often beat the RTX 5070 in certain scenarios Cons: The rgb light bar on the GPU cannot be changed whatsoever, so if you don’t like the blue/green that shown on the GPU, you might as well just flip the LED switch to OFF Overall Review: Great AMD GPU with roughly 5070 Performance, but ASROCK didn’t mention anywhere that the RGB on the card was static, and couldn’t be changed at all. I didn’t know that part until I had the PC fully built

Overall Review: Im sure this card is a blast and i was so excited to try it out. Upon boot however, i quickly found out the gpu was fried. Tried every troubleshoot in the book (reinstall RAM, GPU, use a different pcie slot, hard rebooting, trying to boot without the gpu (which worked) but nothing worked. Red light on my motherboard continued indicating a gpu issue. Kinda sad hopefully i can get a new one replaced quickly :/

Pros: Cheapest 9070 available at the time of my purchase.
Low power draw, only 2x 8pin connectors. No coil whine so far. Cons: The light strip’s color and brightness cannot be changed. Even with a matching AsRock motherboard and their proprietary software, still can’t change it. All you can do is toggle it on/off with a switch on the side of the card. Lame, deceptive feature. I had planned to use the lights on the Mobo & GPU only in the same minimal but sharp appearance I used in my last rig, now I’m using neither.
Added photo w/light strip turned OFF – Horizontal motherboard tray top-down view in a Thermaltake Core V21 case. Overall Review: The most demanding game I have to test a GPU with is Starfield. All Adrenalin settings at default. Paired with a 9700X and 32GB DDR5 6000. The game ran in native 1440p, no upscale, no frame gen, no ray trace, ultra (max) settings for everything @ a solid 80-135 FPS depending on location. Under this load HWMonitor says GPU, VRAM, and HotSpot all stay under 83C.
It’s not the most powerful card on the market but it seems to have excellent power & thermal efficiency. While I highly dislike the unchangeable light strip, it’s an otherwise sharp looking card.

Pros: Previously had a 6700xt, upgraded to this 9070 for $599. An absolute massive boost in performance. I use an amd 5600 cpu with it and am not bottlenecked at 1440p — so long as i close out my browser and other applications aside from the game. I can play all games at native 1440p with no less than 90 fps. I usually get to 110-140 fps at ultra settings, no frame generation, raytracing off. Very happy with the price to performance ratio. You dont need a 9070xt to have a quality 1440p experience!!
While the 5600 cpu will not bottleneck this gpu at 1440p, its very close. Overall Review: Would recommend this 9070 to anybody that wants a good gaming experience at 1440p. You dont need the 9070xt, you dont need a more expensive 9070 option. The cheapest model is the best model.

Pros: Boost Alot Higher then 2520 MHZ, No Overclock Or Undervolt seen Boost of About 3140 MHZ, I Love it, Just wish i had the money for the xt variant. Cons: Had Temps that were a little too high for me, took it out and checked the screws and some of them were loose, i tightend them and temps went down Overall Review: I would recommend this card
