APC Back-UPS 750
APC Back-UPS 750 provides an ideal battery backup and surge protection solution for home and home office electronics. For primary electronics, you can plug into the five battery backup and surge protected outlets. For secondary electronics, you can plug into the five surge only outlets. Among each five outlets, two are transformer-block spaced outlets for easy fit of all equipment. Dataline protection keeps power surges on the data lines at bay. So with it, each device can get the protection from power surges, spikes and outage accordingly. Energy management function ensures minimum power waste, and battery replacement is easy and fuss-free with hot-swappable feature.
5 “Battery Backup & Surge” Outlets keep CPU, monitor and another critical device running when the power goes out or fluctuates outside safe levels.
5 “Surge Only” Outlets protect printers, faxes or other equipment without reducing battery capacity (including three power-saving “Controlled” outlets).
Combination Power Button/LED Indicator provides visual and audible status of unit.
Data Line Surge Protection guards against surges and spikes traveling over phone, network and coax cable lines.
Building Wiring Fault Indicator lets you know if there are problems in your building’s wiring.
Push Button Circuit Breaker enables quick recovery from overload.
PowerChute Software lets you use your computer to access additional power protection and management features:

Pros: So far it seems to be working well. Our electricity hasn’t gone off for us to try this, but it seems to be working. It has plenty of outlets and an easy on/off switch. It came packaged very well. Cons: The on/off switch is a flat push button. My cat keeps running under my desk and steps on it, turning everything off! Overall Review: I’d purchase another one of these if I needed another, I’d also recommend this to friends as it was a good price, was packaged well and works well.

Pros: I have a computer that I built myself With custom components to my specific needs. I use my computers for many things and I need battery backup to safely shut my system down when power outages and surges occur. I have Raid arrays and power surges and outages are very hard on Raid configurations. The same holds true for SSDs on Raid. Great price for piece of mind knowing that my computer is protected. Cons: None. Overall Review: Definitely recommend.

When the power goes out in a storm, it only takes 10-15 seconds to come back on, but my cable internet modem takes 3+ minutes to reset… not when it is hooked up to this UPS! not only does it protect my pc with stable power, but it keeps me gaming or working through the brief power outages! LOVE IT!

Pros: Looks basically like a new one but see cons below. Cons: This APC BE750G Backup UPS was sold as refurbished and I reasonably expected that an original OEM quality APC battery would be included. Rather, the UPS was delivered with a “Power Sonic PS-1290 F2” battery. (see image) Deception was meant to keep me from discovering this as there was a “Warranty Void if removed” sticker that covered the battery door. (Warranty is void just for unsealing the battery door and opening it with a thumb tab) The battery was meant to be accessed and replaced by the customer every 3 years, but it was sealed so that you won’t discover the aftermarket battery for a while. – I doubt this one will last 3 years. We’ll see. Overall Review: Apparent good price for a good product, but buy it with the knowledge that this refurbished APC UPS does not come with an APC battery. You will likely have to replace it sooner than you think.
Suggestion to seller – you should disclose to the customer that this product does not include the APC OEM battery and do away with the battery door seal. Opening the battery door is not a valid reason to void the warranty.

Pros: I don’t expect a refurbished UPS to come with what some are calling an APC battery. If you buy a brand new APC UPS, remove the battery to see its APC sticker, you can peel that sticker off to see the battery mfr. label. I’m sure APC uses batteries from good sources, and CoastTec can also buy their batteries from good sources, maybe the same used by APC. The APC sticker on a battery is nothing magic. I’m guessing the warranty void sticker on the battery cover protects CoastTec from a potential user swapping batteries, keeping the fresh one, and returning their old one to CoastTec. Overall Review: We’ve purchased two of these and are happy with them.

Overall Review: Had it for just over a year- Power finally went out and this started beeping immediately that it was low on power, and it lasted only 1/2 hour.
