  1. Joseph N.

    Pros: Silent
    Low Power consumption
    Decent performance
Well-supported in Debian Linux (testing) Cons: 8GB RAM is low
    Lacks ECC RAM
Ray tracing is still far behind nVidia
Less stream processors than RX6600 Overall Review: Its not the most powerful but Im happy with it for the modeling I do in Blender for 3D printing. I use Debian Linux (bullseye) and only got it to work after installing Debian testing (bookworm) in my sources list. However, this worked out great as my system is extremely stable even on testing. I would have liked ECC VRAM because my system RAM is ECC, but only the W6800 is ECC and is way more expensive. I think 12GB is not a lot to ask either.
Anyway, its a stable card on Debian Linux and probably enjoys even better support on the distros listed on the AMD site but, dont worry, it will work on Debian you just most likely will have to include testing (bookworm) in your sources like I did.
    3440×1440 @144Hz works great

  2. Carl T.

Pros: Easy to setup, fast and efficient. Single slot is nice too. High clock speeds seem to make it responsive. Many good features are present other than the overclocking ones. Cons: Overclocking would’ve been a nice option for a card at this price range. Not sure why the pro cards have all of the clocks/voltages locked down (maybe a bios flash to plain 6600 would alleviate this). Only having some fan controls isn’t great but better than no options in the performance control panel. On full load it tends to run a bit warm but seems acceptable. The fan is capable enough but audible when it spins up past 5000 rpm. Overall Review: Good quality card, not too loud. Also, it is a pcie4 X8 not an X16 card, as new egg has it listed. It will work in an x16 slot but only uses 8 lanes which in turn might not be good for motherboards that only have pcie 3.0 slots.

  3. Abner

    Pros: Single Slot
    Linux
    Vulkan
Pro? Cons: Blue Overall Review: Coming from an Radeon HD 5770 that still works great but is getting to old. This is a beast compare to its predecessor! Surprisingly just a tad smaller than the HD 5770. My workstation runs Arch Linux, and this thing was literally plug and play.
I could of probably bought an equivalent or better consumer product locally, but I was not about to pay “Pro” prices for a “Consumer” product.
Anyway this will have a light load, with hobby 3d modeling, game development and light gaming. Hopefully lasts ten years!?

  4. Now I have an IMAX maker

Pros: I did had a small problem but it took only 2 minutes of time dialing to speaking the tech support, I used own an IT service company, I never got to tech support so fast.. My problem was I needed an active Display port to HDMI adapter. The cost of which is nothing compared to the cost of the video card. Just make sure it works from the display port to HDMI the active adapters seem to be one direction. I ended up with 2 plain adapters, and 1 active adapter. The paper work included with the video card is almost nothing. but the support with tech support more than made up for the lack of paper working with the card. The support number for the Radeon pro video cards only will speak to you if you bough a AMD RADEON PRO, it was nice to speak with tech support that knew how to help within 1 minute . Cons: it has 1 line that said something about an active display port to HDMI adapter. Overall Review: wish I could of gotten the version with 16 GB of memory, but I think it will work great with the 128 GB of RAM.
