Pros: This is a good quality surge suppressor, much better than average. Note high joule rating, but also it shunts to ground very quickly. Cons: none Overall Review: I see a lot of computers that get damaged despite being plugged into a cheap surge suppressor. Tell your customers that surge suppression is not the place to try to save a few dollars by going cheap.

Pros: Works great, the extra outlets on the side provide some more space for large AC adaptors. Long cord is also very nice Cons: none, if it sped my computer up, that would have been nice, but no such luck. Overall Review: I mainly bought this for the long cord and extra plugs, I’m very happy with it.

Pros: I bought several of these because of the side outlets, and believe me, they’re extremely convenient. Way better than any typical retail store surge protectors.
I’ve used this model and the one with the phone line protection as my mainstream surge protection, and I haven’t been let down yet. One of them is used on a line that regularly has power spikes, and the others were in use during the repeated power outages in the past winter’s storms. Through it all, none of my equipment took damage. Good job, TrippLite!
I just bought my 8th one because I’ve been giving them to people. 🙂 Cons: Two cons…first, the cord is a right-angle plug, which is great, but only if you are trying to run the cord that direction. It’s still a 7 foot cord, though, so it’s not a big problem. The only other con I could find is that the power button isn’t quite recessed enough – if you put the surge protector in a backpack, it turns halfway between on and off. Overall Review: Two more side outlets in the future, mayhaps? 🙂

Overall Review: Bought this model for the combination of higher-than-average joules rating (larger “joules” number = better protection), multiple outlets, coax protection for cable TV connection, and compact size. The LED’s are helpful to confirm status of the unit, and the on-off switch is conveniently place. All in all, an excellent unit, with much better protection that I could find for similar prices at local stores.

Overall Review: Bought this to handle electronics at a greater distance from power than a normal extension cord would handle. Unit is well built and exceeds my expectations. Side outlets on the unit are perfect for the heavier power supplies.
