  1. Rachel T.

Pros: Newegg RMA process works Cons: I have ordered three of these devices. The first arrived with no damage and I have had no problems with it. The second unit arrived with a cracked LCD display and was unusable. The RMA unit that replaced it had the same issue. Both broken units had no shipping damage. I know this is not a Newegg issue, however when I contacted customer service to attempt to have them inspect the next RMA, they said that they were unable to verify the equipment prior to shipping. This is the first time I have had an issue with any product from Newegg. I will be in contact with Tripp Lite to see if they can be of assistance.

Overall Review: Great product. Display is easy to read and tells you what is going on.

  3. the 13th Doctor

Overall Review: We needed to protect multiple items on a bench but didn’t want to sacrifice space. Mounted this type underneath the desktop and it did the job brilliantly.

  4. Casper W.

Pros: Easy setup, easy load on the server. The server interface was easy to setup and provides good information on the status of the UPS. No problems encountered Cons: Have some help handy because it is heavy as any ups this size.

  5. Mark D.

Pros: great price for the VA it is rated to deliver.
Eco mode option or dual conversion possible, Eco mode switches fast enough for my equipment so a nice plus.
LEDs indicate status (mains AC, battery, ECO mode, bypass, etc) and are always on, so it’s easy to see. Cons: Assembly/build quality issues. Battery pack is 4x12V sealed lead acid batteries, but the wiring connecting them used crimp connectors that simply fell off. Every connector felt loose, it took a couple hours of my time to fix.
The front bezel feels chincy, and the LCD text display is both crooked and refreshes too slowly to display fast changing input, e.g. the measured load.
The cooling fan cycles between low/high speeds very regularly (every 6 seconds or so?). I can hear it from where I usually sit, can be quite distracting. I believe it cycles due to my load cycling so this may not be an issue for other users.
The menus and buttons would be very difficult to navigate without the manual. Keep it around!

  6. AmonH

Overall Review: This device powered my whole server room at the office, and shows barely any usage. 6 ports gave me room for expansion and its compact size left me with plenty of room in the rack.

  7. Rick

Overall Review: This product distributes connectivity in our Radio Communications Equipment cabinet

  8. MIKE F.

Pros: Great UPS. Purchased two of them 10 months ago, along with TLNETCARD cards (the newer model SNMP card) and environmental sensors. Fast, clean power to protect our server rack. Wired each one into a separate breaker and ran our dual PSU Dell servers off of them (one AC cord per server going to each UPS). Both UPS’s report about a 30% load powering 8 servers. Cons: Our first one arrived defective. Tripp-Lite customer support was very helpful getting exchanged, but the exchange process was still difficult and time-consuming due to the size and weight of these units (had to be shipped back via freight carrier). Overall Review: Would definitely recommend this model. The software is a bit challenging to do the initial set-up, but everything works well once it’s properly configured.
