Pros: Happy to have 6 gb total all working ; didnt want to take a risk to go above 6 gb that isnt on the compatibility list Cons: havent run into any yet

Pros: Easy to install. Overall Review: I would buy this again in the future if I had another Synology NAS that took this expansion memory. For me the premium is worth it.
Although the DS920plus has plenty of memory for my current use I expanded it because I want to start running a few containers.
I installed it in the NAS, ran the memory test from the Synology Assistant, and was up and running again in a couple of hours.

Pros: Original Synology RAM. ECC etc., works well in Synology NAS. Cons: Price Overall Review: I needed to expand RAM in Synology NAS to be able to run some VMs, and I wanted to buy original Synology memory to ensure high stability.
This memory is original Synology RAM, and it works as advertised, but it costs arm and a leg. Synology is really milking customers.
I could’ve bought 3rd party RAM with the same specs that works in Synology NAS at 1/2 price, but I don’t know how stable it would be long-term, and don’t want to take chances. But the price is unreasonable.
