Pros: Very sturdy contruction, fully assembled out of the box and comes with enough hardware for 3 1/2 four bolt units Cons: if you need more mounting hardware it’s pricy

Pros: Sturdy and inexpensive Cons: none Overall Review: We have used these in the past and they work great. Like someone else mentioned, the “ledge” is big enough for a small UPS. If creative, you can place something like a custom cut piece of board on the ledges to make a “real” shelf. Also, the price is lower now than the last one we ordered, so its an even better bargain!

Pros: High quality construction and slick looking design. great for small server and network equipment build Cons: The specifications say it supports depths of up to 22″, but what they don’t tell you is the space between the front and back rails (it’s just under 20″). Ended up ordering support rails that were too long, and had to track down a set that would fit in the tight quarters (NavePoint Adjustable Rack Mount Server Shelf Shelves Rail Rails 1U 2-pack). Overall Review: This thing is really heavy, especially loaded with server equipment, so make sure that you have a sturdy wall with available studs to mount it on. My office seems to have been built with no studs or support beams where I wished they were, so the server rack lives on a pair of filing cabinets. It would be nice if this rack came with options for putting on legs or casters, as it makes a very tall order on the poor wall.

Pros: – Easy to put together without instructions
– Plenty of expansion Cons: – Is a bit taller than spec (by about 12mm) if you need to put bolts in the top and the bottom for the smallest setting. Had to change my mounting location.

Pros: Sturdy, easy to assemble and well marked mounting holes. Cons: The only negative was that one of the pieces had a deep scratch down to the metal. Overall Review: Good value for the money

Pros: This product is a budget frinedly option that allows complete customization when it comes to expansion. Also the specs on this page list this product with a weight capacity of 39lbs but the Startech website says this model is rated at a 200lbs capacity. It is easy to see why when you see the structure, this is heavy duty metal, not flimsy at all. This page weight may be referring to the producy weight itself but you can get all the spcs on the Startech website. Recommended product. Cons: Not found any cons, met project specifications. Overall Review: 100% recommended product, good quality, strong and easy to setup.

Super sturdy Cons: None yet Overall Review: Got this for my home lab. Initially I wanted an enclosed unit but decided that this is going in my home and I don’t really have a major security concern so open racking is just fine. Install was a bit of a challenge for me to do solo, but I was also an idiot. I should have just mounted the top section first, then assembled each section afterward hanging from the top. The rack is super sturdy so it would have easily handled the weight of me assembling one item at a time. I do plan to add a rack mount battery backup so having a strong rack was important to me, right now it just supports all my networking switches, router, small NAS and just a really small battery backup. I have another project for a friend and will probably buy this again for his home networking set up.
