Skechers Men’s Go Run Consistent Air Cooled Foam Athletic Sneakers

I got these shoes because they were on sale for $42 and I had heard that the Skechers Go Walk / Go Run shoes were good. I do a lot of walking so I figured I would give them a try.
The fit is a little big, longer in the toe box than New Balance – which I normally buy. The width is okay, but right out of the box there is just something that isn’t quite right about them.
They fit okay; they aren’t falling off my feet, so I decided to just wear them a few times to see if they broke in and felt a little better. After wearing them on several 2-mile walks and also a couple 3-mile bouts on a treadmill they still aren’t right. Especially on a treadmill they are kind of awkward and clunky – they don’t feel lightweight, and the balance of the shoes are off. It is too late to return them so I will keep them around in case there is something like doing dirty work or something like that. They aren’t comfortable enough to be everyday shoes.
I am very disappointed since this is my first go with Skechers, it will probably also be my last.
I’ll be going back to New Balance and I am definitely glad that I didn’t pay full price for these.

Excellent product and price. Wear an 11.5 Extra Wide and this 12 Extra Wide is perfect. Added a foam insert as well. For the money, is a GREAT deal. I walk over 5 miles daily so wear out shoes a lot.

This is my second pair of these as I wore the first pair out. Great shoes, my feet do not beg me to take them off in the evenings like a lot of other shoes. When these wear out, I’ll buy another pair, they are my everyday wear.
