Terrible customer service and a machine that doesn’t work out of the box. Apparently something is wrong with the motherboard or CPU that makes memory slot one not function. MSI is making us send the whole machine back for repairs. We just wanted them to swap it since its brand new. Amazon would only offer a refund – not a replacement. The computer was a Prime Day deal so to lock in the economics we had to go the MSI route. Unless its an amazing deal I suggest not buying. I’ll come back and edit this once the ‘repairs’ are done.
Ragnarok –
Buying this as a replacement for an 8 year old gaming laptop so it’s hard to be disappointed. I put a wifi adapter in the back to speed up the internet as I’m a bit far from our router and can’t easily hook up Ethernet in this room. With that, internet is very fast. Google tells me 333 Mbps download and 332.5 Mbps upload.
It has empty slots for upgrades, and lots of space for airflow.
This is good for my gaming needs – Elden Ring at max settings with 1440p ran at 60 fps. Probably not gonna use this for VR or 4K so that’s good enough for me.
BTW this thing has 8GB VRAM. I ran some smaller distilled deepseek models and it ran them very smoothly. Fan didn’t even need to kick on for the smallest one. But it’s gonna slow down if I push for larger ones, and tbh all these small models aren’t as smart as 4o or sonnet anyway, so I probably won’t use it much for this.
Anyway, overall great value for the price. Looks cool and is quiet also 🙂

Beautiful build, runs quickly, Wi-Fi antenna is included with the computer. It has a good memory capacity for most games, and stays cool with the fans. Also you can turn on different rgb for the fans and customize it in your way.

Shipping was ultra fast. Box came with a hole in it, but no product damage. Was funny assembled and all connections good and tight. The performance for the price is amazing. No corners cut in the build, only 16GB of ram but it’s DDR5 so it’s super fast. RTX 4060 it rubs very cool and has 8gb of vram. I’m very happy with it.

Awesome unit for a reasonable price! I was planning to do my own build but the price of video cards was just too high. So just by chance, I happened to look at this unit. I couldn’t find a 4000 series Nvidia video card let alone find one under $1,000. Turns out this unit came with an Nvidia 4070 plus an entire computer along with it to boot! So i ordered it and received it in just two days. When I rfirst turned it on and was very dismayed to learn that everything was in Italian, including a very weird keyboard layout. I struggled to set it up in Italian but just couldn’t pull it off. So I called MSI customer support and to my amazement, I had a tech on the phone in less than ten minutes. The tech walked me through how to restore everything to the default factory settings and I was back in business in another ten minutes. My last experience with hardware tech support was with Asus during an attempted build gone wrong. That took literally DAYS to get anywhere and I never did resolve my problem with an incompatibility between my AMD cpu and the Asus motherboard BIOS. So I was just soooooo very happy that MSI had adequate customer support !!
