Pros: – Easily put together with easy-to-read instructions

– Adjustable! Cons: – Adjustment will be difficult once installed with components in place if more room is needed later down the road.
– Did not come with wall mounting hardware.
– Did not come with cage nuts. Overall Review: This package arrived at my front door very quickly (days before everything else that I ordered). To my surprise the package was actually quite small and manageable. After opening, everything inside was packed very nicely – all similar parts were packed together and labeled clearly and the bolts were in their own baggies per type.
The instructions were very clear and easy to understand and even included drawings to help identify orientations during assembly. Please note, you may want to have a large flathead screwdriver and crescent wrench handy during assembly – and don’t forget to leave your bolts hand-tight until all parts are assembled, or you may have difficulties fitting pieces together. Tool-tighten once complete!
It was unfortunate that I still had to run to the hardware store and obtain some lag bolts, rubber grommets and washers to mount the rack. I am not faulting the reseller/manufacturer for that, though – every mounting application is surely not the same, and the hardware needed will change on a case-to-case basis. However, I was very upset when I finished putting everything together and got the rack mounted when I noticed that once I slid my switch in place… I had no hardware to secure it to the rack. Another trip to the hardware store… came back empty-handed. It appears that cage nuts are not a normally-stocked item. So, I’m waiting for my delivery of these specialized parts to finish. This is the only reason I took the rating down to a four.
I am extremely satisfied with the appearance of the product. It is very rugged and durable and is large enough when expanded to fit my PowerEdge R710. It’s a bit bulky and heavy once assembled, but it isn’t too heavy to mount to the wall! So far it all looks good, and I strongly recommend this rack to anyone who wants a great cost-efficient solution for a simple home network. Just wish I had taken pictures once received and during assembly to show it off.
