Pros: Build quality is excellent. Took a little trial and error to get adjusted but very comfortable now!
Easy initial setup. Software is very easy to use.
EQ settings were more robust than my previous headset and I suspect likely the same for most modern headsets.
Switching between dongle / bluetooth is very easy if I want audio from my computer vs my phone. Cons: If wanting to switch between wired(usb-c) and wireless(dongle) modes, the current behavior is to use the wireless(dongle) mode even if the headset is connected via usb simultaneously. The mic and audio are slightly better when wired, and switching between the two is not as easy as I think it could be. Maybe fractal can change this in a firmware update. Below are some of those scenarios:
1) Connected via dongle, then plugging in usb. The current behavior is to just keep using it via dongle. I think this is a mistake because the audio/mic quality are better while wired in, so having this be higher priority to use when both are connected would make more sense to me.
2) Connected via usb, then plugging in dongle. Behavior goes to dongle. See above.
Additionally the dongle switch must be engaged in order to use via usb. This seems not intuitive to me and their videos/guides don’t dont a good job of explaining that? Maybe this is the intended behavior?
The headset comes with a usb cord which can be used to power the charging dock or can be used to plug directly into the headset. I wish there was a 2nd cable so that users can do both if they wanted, but usb-c cables are fairly easy to get. At this price point, I don’t think that’s anywhere near a dealbreaker. Overall Review: I’ve been using this headset almost non-stop for about a week now, and really don’t regret my purchase. It’s accessibility with the charging stand is awesome. Comfort is great. Software is easy to use. Audio and mic quality are good in the dongle mode, but even better when wired. If you are someone who is looking for the “best” mic and audio, hopefully fractal can update the firmware so that the wired mode would take priority over the dongle mode when both options are available or give you an option to choose which one it would default to. For me, I like the wireless setup the majority of the time for everyday use. In the times I play games with others, having the best version of the mic without having to dance around unplugging the dongle every time would make this headset perfect for me. This is better than just a great “all around” headset, I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an upgrade!

– The charging base is so good, I never want another pair of headphones without it. The headset is always charged! It, too, has a great Scandinavian aesthetic.
– Includes a dongle for gaming. Haven’t needed it, but good to know it’s there. Bluetooth is known to be unreliable for gaming in some situations. Cons: – Normal Bluetooth stuff. If it’s paired to my pc and then I pair it to my phone, some programs get confused and switch off of it on the pc. I believe this is a BT issue and not specific to this headset. Using the dongle solves this.
– No pass-through mode. Hearing my surroundings (partner) is something I miss from my open-back headphones, but it’s never been added to phones that don’t have Active Noice Cancellation afaik, so I don’t fault the Scape too much here. And it’s not too noise-isolating as to make it unusable for everyday use. Overall Review: I wanted a headset for my large head and ears, and this exceeded my expectations. The beautiful Scandinavian aesthetics were a nice bonus, bordering on wish-fulfilment.

*beautiful* design Cons: Wish they were slightly larger. (more of a “me” problem) Overall Review: I would give these headphones a five star review, except for the fact that I have a jumbo noggin. They feel a bit snug on my head to the point that I feel “pressure points” that become a bit uncomfortable after extended use. I suspect this wouldn’t be a problem at all for people with “normal” sized heads though. I’m hoping that they’ll loosen up a bit after I break them in for a while.

Pros: The headphones are great quality, The size adjuster is extremely smooth and is made of metal. Overall, I would recommend these for someone who plays their game in maybe 2 hour sessions before you want to take these off. Cons: They will make your ears sweat quite a bit because of the ear cushion material. The lack of an actual app makes it somewhat difficult to change some settings, especially without internet. Overall Review: Its a great headset, great sound quality. I just wish the ear cushion was a bit more breathable.
