Pros: All the features you could ever want.
Has sensors for days!
HTML5 WebUI for Remote Console to your OS! Cons: No cons. Overall Review: Love it. I really wish the Ryzen architecture had more PCI-E Lanes because if it did between the board and the CPUs, they would literally be perfect.

Overall Review: Motherboard is good for ryzen 5950x

Pros: -8 SATA ports, with one supporting SATADOMs
-Integrated 10Gbase-T
-HTML5 based IPMI
-With good airflow the chipset, vrm, NIC controller all run at very low temps
-One 110mm length M.2 slot
-Temp sensor header Cons: -Only 2 USB ports, which is typical of server boards.
-BIOS PWM fan control doesn’t work, have to use IPMI to change fan settings.
-Slow to boot due to having to initialize the BMC and other components on the board Overall Review: I was having issues with my NAS that was running on a 2700x and Crosshair 7 hero. The CPU apparently doesn’t like 32GB UDIMMS and would have memory/cache errors constantly causing crashes and eventually an array failure false alarm.
Swapped it for a 3900X and this board and so far so good.

Pros: Lots of IPMI/BMC Configurations
Good set of I/O to use from 2x PCIe 4.0 NVMe x4 slots to 8 SATA ports.
Micro-ATX Sized Cons: IPMI Remote File Slow.
X750 Heatsink might be prone to be in-effective.
Semi non-standard FAN I/O between 4 to 6pins. Overall Review: Was researching for months to decided on a good platform for a home server design. Running an AMD R9 5900X w/128GB DDR4 ECC UDIMMs and will either be a VMware ESXi or Promox cluster in the future. Own a old Asrockrack E3C226D2I and its been serving FreeNAS for a good 7yrs but the stability is going down slowly.
Lots of home server consumers out there with a good following of information

Pros: Had all the features I wanted + 1 egg Cons: Surprised to see it have the same original firmware since the board’s release. Didn’t support Ryzen 5000 series processors with that firmware. Upgraded to latest firmware which caused it to not be able to boot in the BIOS. So reflashed it with a version in the middle and though it said successful, when it rebooted, it bricked. Overall Review: Haven’t tried Asrock that much, this was disappointing.
