Pros: Easy to install and works well.
Allows the PC to use Secure Boot Cons: None Overall Review: After installing, I noticed that I needed to switch my boot drive from MBR to GPT. I followed some information that I found to use the MBR2GPT command line tool to do just that. Once I switched to MPR and set the BIOS to perform Secure Boot, I was set. Worked well but the Windows 11 checker still states that my machine cannot run Windows 11. No idea why as it has much more than the minimum system requirements. Will see if the updated checker will do better.
Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4
REF: Search for “How to convert MBR to GPT drive to switch BIOS to UEFI on Windows 10” to find the Windows Central article.
When changing to Secure Boot in the BIOS, I did have to publish keys or something similar. If you pay attention when attempting to enable Secure Boot, the BIOS will point you in the right direction as to what needs to be done with the keys. It was fairly simple to figure out.
Recommend buying but make certain that this is the correct module for your board. There are several pin configurations for these modules. Make certain that you pick one with the correct pinout.
NOTE: I order this TPM on Newegg but did not receive it from the seller and received a refund. No other Newegg sellers had them in stock but was able to find it from another online seller and purchased it from the other website.

Pros: Easy to install and easy to set up in the BIOS. Win 11 readiness checkers see it for the TPM 2 requirement. Cons: 1. Only fits certain ASRock boards with a 17 pin TPM Header.
2. May not be needed if your CPU has TPM built into it; which has to be disabled in the BIOS to use this module.
3. Could be in limited supply due to current Win 11 requirements driving demand. Overall Review: A good hardware solution for upgrading a system to be Win 11 ready.

Overall Review: I bought this to be able to upgrade to Windows 11. After installing the device, I didn’t need to do any configuration change – just re-ran the compatibility checker and I was good to go. I did install it in an ASRock motherboard (model B360M Pro4).

Pros: Compatible with Asrock AB350 Gaming-itx/ac motherboard
Asrock (Bios 5.7) fTPM switch setting works with this board
Windows 11 recognizes TPM 2.0 interface on this board
Windows BitLocker works with this board Cons: None Overall Review: Originally I purchased from another vendor and received the Nuvoton TPM2-S board as displayed. It would not properly boot and remained in boot loop.
The new board looks totally different and uses the Infineon SLB 9665 chip. The motherboard BIOS CPU fTPM Switch setting enables / disables the TPM 2.0 feature. Motherboard can boot without issues now. Windows 11 recognizes the TPM 2.0 support and Bitlocker is now functional.
Older motherboard now Windows 11 compatible. WooHoo….

Pros: – It’s nice to be hopeful Cons: – It sucks to be wrong. This product did not allow my motherboard to meet the security requirement for the windows upgrade. Overall Review: I knew it was a gamble when I bought it.

Pros: It works. You plug it into the motherboard and bam, TPM. Cons: None, really. Maybe that it’s a little tall? Depending on where on your motherboard your TPM socket is it may collide with a GPU or something. Overall Review: It works. I was able to use it to turn on Bitlocker. No setup of the device itself needed. I just had to turn it on in the BIOS.
