There’s an incredible selection of game titles spanning dozens of consoles. Practically every genre of game is represented, and most of them appear to work properly. I was happy with the response from the wireless controllers. While they are basic and feel cheap, I didn’t think my gaming experience was downgraded in any meaningful way.
This console runs a locked down version of EmuElec, which can be unlocked for those who understand how to tweak the massive number of settings available. Most people will be happy to run the console as it comes out of the box. However, some of the settings (like aspect ratio) are not properly configured for all systems. This leads to many games being displayed incorrectly which does affect overall playability, especially in games that are more vertically oriented.
Also, you can’t properly shut down the system. The only way to power it down is by pulling the USB power cable from the game stick. That’s a horrible method for cycling power in a device where an SD card contains all the software, but that’s the only option available.
I’d like to give it five stars based on the sheer number of games you can play. That aspect truly is incredible. Unfortunately, the locked down software with improper configurations does give me pause. I enjoy authenticity and that’s where this console has a tendency to miss the mark.

I want to love this but cannot. The input lag is very bad.

Is 1 star tue lowest you can give?
Not worth the money. The controllers are way to light. Unable to configure the buttons to your needs. Way to much lag loading the games and playing the games. As a gamer I have great internet speed and the best televisions for gaming. This emulator is not worth it even for the low cost. Better off spending the money on the actual gaming system.
I was really hoping for a better experience with this product, bringing bsck my childhood games. Very disappointed.

Horrible, please don’t buy!!! The controllers don’t respond well at all. The system lags too much causing the game to sit still at times.

Has some games, I’ll give it that.. It does glitch every so often, where you need to reboot the stick a time or so. Neither one of the controllers will sync anymore (conveniently after the return window) and I can’t find a source to help with troubleshooting… There’s no guide for your button configuration across the various platforms.

I did not have great expectations for this package, and I had even less when I looked at the box and saw “Reminder: This device has no built-in game program. Users need to install by themselves, such as installing games”. Hmmm, not what the Amazon blurb says, but we’ll see.
I opened it and read the very sparse instructions, put 2x AAA batteries in each controller and plugged it in to the TV, added the USB dongle for the wireless remotes and a 5-volt USB power block to power the stick itself. Immediately got a pretty nice screen that was expandable on the TV. Expectations rose significantly.
The box is not exactly truthful. There are a whole bunch of ROM games of dubious origins (aaargh, matey), and a number of emulators. At core, it seems to be running a customized version of Emulec 4.3. There is a lot of trial and error involved in working out exactly which buttons do what – very inconsistent between games and emulators – so be prepared for a major task working out the details and how not to lose any progress you made.
The controllers were cheap – and that’s how they function. Not great, but generally workable. What is worrying though is the lack of any easy soft shutdown of the stick itself. Unless I’m missing something, the only way to power down is to interrupt the supply. That’s not exactly great for SD card life.
While on the subject of SD cards, I was surprised to find a Lexar 256GB 633x card included that looks genuine, with Balena Etcher showing its contents as two drive partitions totaling 94 GB of data. That’s a pretty huge block to clone backup, but Balena Etcher did so successfully to a 256 GB Sandisk SD over several hours. Power-down is not quite so daunting now. One of the drive partitions seems to be primarily Android and the main emulator, the other has a whole bunch of folders each containing multiple rom images for various systems.
As a review item, it is fun to see what’s there. Not sure I’d buy it, but I’m not a big retro-gamer.

It’s as described. 50 emulators, 42000 games. A good power source is very important for it to work. If the power source is not good enough, it will not boot (0.5A) (stoped at the begin picture) or boot without sound (2A). After a lot of troubleshooting, I found the USB port from TV (1A) works the best. Some reviews reported that it’s not working, most possibly it’s because power source not good.
