Pros: I purchased the K620 and installed it in a HP Z220 Workstation for video and photography editing. No problems so far. I was about to purchase the K600 but saw this one in a review of being a New NVidia release w/ 2 Gig of ram in stead 1GB. like the K600. I did go to NVidia website to make sure I down load the current video driver due to video cards @ times releasing new drivers quickly especially if it is a New release card. That’s my experience. Cons: A Great budget Workstation video card that doesn’t break the bank.

Pros: It seems to be a pretty decent card for the money. Purchasing from Newegg was easy as always and with free shipping I had it in 3 days. The card and driver install was a snap, of course I’ve never bought an NVidia product that wasn’t. I am using it in our Company’s technology center where we demo the latest in office equipment. I needed a computer that can power the newest 3D printers and a card that could handle the 3D graphics rendering without spending a fortune. I used this card in conjunction with a Video Port to Dual HDMI splitter and have the screen output going to a 24″ monitor and 2 wall mounted 42″ HD TV’s and worked beautifully with a minimum of tweaking. Cons: None.

Pros: Works well in my Ubuntu workstation running one monitor from the displayport and one from dvi. Low profile. Supports 4k @ 60hz from single displayport connection. Cons: Wish there was a fanless version, but that’s almost impossible to find in modern cards. Although it’s only a 45w card, I had to upgrade my power supply from 430w to 600w to boot with this card installed.
Ubuntu consistently attempts to try and use the displayport connection as the primary sound device even with other speakers installed and preferred in the device settings. While that’s a con of the software and not a con of the card per se, it is a con of this particular application of the card.

Pros: Affordable cards we’ve installed before Cons: This card was a return it was not a new one! It was missing the cover sleeve and installation media. Overall Review: I called customer so called service and left my phone number. I had 2 calls back with no one on the line and then the call hung up. Not happy about any of this! My company has been using Newegg for years. First issue and not feeling good about lack of resolution.

Pros: silent, low power, no pci-e power connection, easy to install, fast CAD work, runs games much better than i expected. Cons: surprisingly low CUDA count for a WORKstation card but i knew that when i purchased it. no SLI, driver not very friendly with other graphics cards (from what ive researched elsewhere online) Overall Review: i had a hard time thinking of cons since this is a very good as an entry-level CAD card. i didn’t notice how low the CUDA count was when i was searching for a CAD card until after i had purchased it. regardless, i would’ve still stuck with this because the drivers for quadros are designed to maximize their use with professional applications. and let me say this card is AWESOME with small assemblies in Autodesk Inventor (haven’t gotten into big projects yet) and with drawings in Autocad. pan and rotation are VERY quick with no drawing issues. i have taken my high-DPI gaming mouse and snapped it side-to-side as fast as I could and the software showed no issues drawing the models. probably the fastest response i have ever had in a CAD application (including school computers with the FirePro cards).
TLDR: great for entry-level CAD work. if you’re using it for school CAD work, this will more than meet your needs and light gaming hasn’t been an issue for me either.
