Athena Power AP-U3ATX60FEP8
An 80 PLUS Bronze certified 600W power supply engineered to deliver stable, reliable performance in 24×7 IPC and server environments. Dual 60 mm fans, one located at the front and the other located at the rear, work together to produce voluminous airflow to efficiently take heat away. The fans are also thermally controlled to achieve a great balance between cooling and noise level. The 3U form factor fits a variety of 3U IPC cases from Athena Power.
Active PFC and Full Range Input
The Active PFC and full range function provides a smarter PSU. Able to detect the difference of wattage that is needed to power up your system, you can be rest assured as it will provide and maintain the most suitable power needed.
Dual Fan
With its dual fan located at the front and back of the power supply, the rear fan intakes the heat that is produced inside the server or system and pushes it through the front fan. The design allows the power supply to be able to take 100% of the heat that is generated by the interior system and pushes it out of the server/system.
Smart Auto Fan Speed Controller
Athena Power’s AP-U3ATX60FEP8 thermal fan speed controller will detect the amount of heat generated by the server/system. Using this controller to detect the heat levels, it will automatically adjust the fan speed to maintain an optimum temperature and eliminate the need to worry about the heat levels of a PSU.

Pros: Stable power output. Perfectly fit my customer’s chassis. Protected and long enough cables. Cons: May have more molex connectors. Overall Review: Served my customer’s server and replaced this one. The size and mounting are perfectly fit. Staple output, but not enough molex connectors for some elder components. Need to purchase molex extender for having more connectors. System runs good so far.

Pros: Fit my chassis perfectly. Output wattage is more than enough. Durable wires. Cons: Need extra molex connectors. Overall Review: Got this one for replacing my 3U rack mount server. The size and mounting holes are fit my chassis perfectly. Used higher wattage for having better performance and more reliable power supply. Wires are protected well. Need to purchase molex extending cable for getting enough molex connectors. System runs pretty good so far.

Pros: Small size, dual fans, plenty of power, enterprise quality. Cons: A bit small for a tower build, but I knew that when I purchased it (3U size). Also the fans draws straight through, although that was not a problem for me. Overall Review: If your looking for enterprise quality power supply on a budget, there aren’t many choices. Would recommend this one, if you can live with the size

Pros: Easy to Setup. Fits perfectly in my rack mount server case which is the reason that I bought it. I didn’t need a ton of power, and I didn’t want to pay a lot. This power supply has been running almost nonstop for months now as a gaming server and seems to be running fine. Cons: None Overall Review: Just to be clear on what this power supply is running: It is running an AMD eight core processor, Gigabyte motherboard with on board graphics. 7200 rpm WD hard drive and an optical drive.
