Blazing OC Tuner
The Blazing OC Tuner allows AM5 CPU to switch between OC mode and PBO(Precision Boost Overdrive) mode when the CPU current hits threshold. Anything above current threshold will engage manual OC mode; if below current threshold then will engage Precision Boost Overdrive mode. Overall Review: This is a good motherboard for the price. Has all of the headers and features anyone under enthusiast would ever need. The built in RGB light is nice, and it works well with the Polychrome software.

Pros: -Solid board with great VRAMS cooling/heatsinks and build quality! The motherboard itself is pretty and minimalist and comes with RGB settings (in the BIOS).
-Comes with most of your usual features: Clear CMOS, Flashback, WIFI, etc.
-Room for future SSDs upgrade, It can support 2+ M.2s (*make sure to read the manual/pdf) Cons: -AsRock bios can be tricky, and I would stick to the most recent (not beta) version. Overall Review: I have the most recent BIOS update and manage to have my ram on EXPO, I am happy. It did scare me at first, as it took longer for the first boot (*this is noted on their bios update page, so it is normal and shouldn’t be alarming). Asrocks has a subreddit for more information, and their support team seems to answer most questions. Overall, I am very happy with my choice.

Overall Review: I love this motherboard. It has all the features of any of the newer full-size B650 motherboards in a smaller (and cheaper!) form factor. People complain a lot about the slow boot times with DDR5 on AM5 motherboards, but this puppy clears POST in just over 6 seconds and I’m in Windows (on an NVMe) from power-on to launching applications in 11 seconds flat.

Pros: Worked fine out of the box. I did update bios to latest version before even booting. So I can’t say if it works directly out of the box with 7800x3d. Bluetooth works fine for me as well. I’ve seen people mention on the Internet that they had problems. Looks decent in a white build “tower 300” Cons: Nothing. If I had to pick I would like maybe another USB or two. I’ve seen other matx boards with more but I’m not held back at all and this is coming from someone with a rgb mouse pad. Overall Review: Exactly what I expected.

Cons: This motherboard didnt work even when i got it new, i had to do some special procedures like removing all rams. Boot with 1 ram , once it boots, then can add the 2nd ram otherwise i would get both red lights boot error for BOOT and VGA. I keep getting the same lights even if i removed the GPU and all rams. Did all CMOS clear possible (battery & jumper reset without power cord). Nothing works. I keep geting the same error lights over and over again, at this point,i can’t strip much because theres nothing left to strip. Overall Review: Asrock works great when you get no problems but if you have problems, you are better off getting another board

-Built in WIFI Cons: -WIFI card Quit Working after a little over a week Overall Review: This was an upgrade for an LGA 1700 computer I built in a white case with white fans and a white CPU cooler. The board matches the theme nicely by being white and black. The build was a breeze, I find the ports on the board are laid out nicely and in a pattern that makes sense. One thing I love about ASRock motherboards is that they don’t skimp you on fan ports, as some Micro ATX boards do. I also love these wider Micro ATX boards due to how they fill up the case. It’s just slightly longer than my GPU, which is aesthetically pleasing. The BIOS are also decent, I found it easy to navigate to enable XMP on my RAM and change my fan curves to my liking. Also, if you don’t like the RGB, it can be disabled in BIOS. Also, it was Windows 11 ready out of the box and had Resizable BAR and above 4G decoding enabled by default.
After installing Windows 11, I did have to install a number of drivers, including WIFI. However, this isn’t really ASRock’s fault as the drivers should have been included in Windows. I tried two Linux distributions, and both worked 100% out of the box, including WIFI. So, that means Windows could include the drivers, but Microsoft is lazy. The only reason I even bring up the drivers is because ASRock has as great tool on the support page for the motherboard that automatically installs the drivers. After connecting to WIFI using a USB adapter, I used that tool to get the rest of the drivers installed. So, good on ASRock for having that tool.
All in all, I’m glad I bought this board. It’s a great board and it gets me into AM5 with a price that’s easy on my wallet. Also, thanks to NewEgg, I was able to bundle it with some Corsair Vengeance DDR5 and save some money. The RAM works perfectly with the board, which is why it’s good to go with suggested combos. You can save money and save yourself a headache.
Edit 08-06-24: I had to drop an egg off of my score because the included M.2 WIFI card quit working a little over a week after I built my system. It’s technically not a failure of the board as I was able to put a different WIFI card in the slot and it works, but it’s still something that was included with it that quit working. It’s not worth tearing the computer apart and returning an otherwise functional board for a WIFI card, but if I wanted to supply my own WIFI card, I wouldn’t have paid extra for the version with WIFI included.

Wifi is present, although performance is marginal Cons: No Digital Audio port. (SPIDF would be nice)
WIFI performs poorly on 5G, that might be due to the cheap antennas provided in the kit. Overall Review: A new Ryzen 9600x came right up with no issues, I didn’t check for newer BIOS.
The layout is nice, and the MB is stable so far. I have not attempted any OC tuning.
