Unit works ok when it comes to using it as a gps. Signal from 2 collars is ok, loses signal sometimes. Biggest issue is a non usable belt clip. The back panel is different from other garmin models and does not take a belt clip. the swivel mount places the unit far off your hip so it bounces around uncomfortably. I have also had 2 swivel attachments break, almost causing me to use the unit. If it had not hit my foot i would have lost it. for the price I would have expected more.

The unit works as advertised, but DO NOT trust the plastic belt clip that comes with it. I spent an hour looking for my new and lost unit. Why would a $700 unit be held together by a piece of plastic! Get a real holster for it and you’ll be fine.

Does not have bark detection. Alpha 100’s have this. Alpha 200i have this, but its not available on the 200. Not sure why. Might not be important to everyone but wish I had known beforehand and just got the 200i. Other than that, it’s works great! Would suggest replacing the antenna

Worked great for a couple weeks until I was in the middle of the woods using the GPS and it just turned off. I thought the battery had died but once I got back home I tried charging it and it wouldn’t charge and wouldn’t turn back on. I called Garmin to see what the issue was, they had me try a few things and it still wouldn’t work, so they told me that it could just be a faulty product and it’s hard for them to tell where it actually came from. They recommended that I order a replacement directly from them and return the one I purchased from Amazon. Highly recommend going directly to Garmin, they were super helpful and overnighted me a replacement at no cost for overnight shipping.

Reached out directly to garmen and customer support told me to send them my old one and they will charge me over $200 to try again. No way. Your product didn’t last for more than 40 actual working hours. Skip this company and find one that stands behind the quality of the product they make
